Resource Connections works in partnership with the
Developmental Disability Administration, Southern Regional
Office on this need.
Resource Coordinators conduct personal interview with
those who have applied for services through the
Developmental Disabilities Administration.
Referrals are received from the
Developmental Disabilities
Administration
We provide applicants with the
option to meet at their homes,
our office or some other
location of their choice.
Family members, caregiver or others who may have
assisted an individual in completing the initial application
are often involved in the interview process.
The Eligibility Coordinators:
Help individuals gather
supporting documentation
regarding their disability
Provide applicants with a
comprehensive resource packet of
community resources
Assist individuals in crisis
situations
Our recommendations are based on observations and
information provided by the applicant.
The final eligibility determination decision is
made by the Developmental Disabilities Administration.
